Sacred Poetry

Just seeing

And than I suddenly see
I am - totally free
There can be no - so called 'me'

Our universe is one ocean of matter
Particle against particle, no walls to shatter.
The bits that belong to today's sun
Will tomorrow be part of a child's bum.
One day, they are life-giving breath
Next a rotting carcass - symbol of death
Why wade through this sticky mess?

Sit still ! Witness the sea of changes
Watch the superstition that plaques all ages
Don't cling to the body, however bold
-a body that feels heat and cold,
feels pain or pleasure, is young or old.
The one who knows, can't be bound
Free of natureŚs tyranny, he won't be found

Only the body binds child and mother
Insight frees from this and all other.
Gaining control over physical forces
Who masters the return to finer sources?
With no more roles to play,
There remains nothing to say.
My Lord, I can only pray:

May my love for you, melt in your love for me
For than I suddenly see:
I am totally free,
Dissolved in a universal ' Be'.
